You do not need every detail selected yet. The important thing is to speak with us before the electrical design is finalised and before individual systems start being solved one by one.

Plans
Best timePlans in hand, before the electrical design
We talk through what you expect from the house or flat, what you want to control and what should run on its own. Then we mark where the switches, sensors, cables and the space in the distribution board will go. Everything is still open and nothing has to be redone.

- Best right at the start, while the first important decisions are made and the electrical design is still being drawn.
- Renovation
- Best before demolition or before the first walk-through with the electrician.

Foundations
Almost everything is still open
We clarify which technologies should be connected: heating, shading, ventilation, entry or metering. We choose them so that one system can control them, before each one is ordered on its own.

- A good moment to think about heating, shading, ventilation, entry and metering as one whole.
- Renovation
- Especially important when several things are being replaced at once and should work well together.

Shell
Still good, the lighting plan closes now
Cabling can still be adjusted and we design the system around the house as it is built. Every light needs its own cable, though, so the lighting plan has to be closed before the rough-in starts.
What we do: Choosing lights
- New build
- This is when you decide where the light goes and what kind: downlights, a strip above the counter, a light over the table or on the terrace.
- Renovation
- During demolition and building work, new cable routes and light positions can still be agreed.

Rough-in
The last comfortable moment
The electrician pulls the cables to the plan: the bus to every module, power to the lights and sockets, everything into one distribution board. You can still check on site that nothing is missing, but changes already cost more time and money.
What we do: Cabling plan

- Good for a final check of sensors, controls and space in the distribution board.
- Renovation
- The last comfortable moment to prepare important routes and places before everything is covered again.

Plaster and fit-out
Still possible, but harder
Plaster hides the runs, and after the painters the modules go in, which we register with the ioMASTER controller. A cable missing now can usually only be added by opening the wall. Work on 230 V is always done by a qualified electrician.
What we do: Modules and set-up
- New build
- The modules go in on the cables already prepared. Whatever was missing from the plan is harder to add now.
- Renovation
- Late changes can already mean reopening walls or changing the agreed scope.

Handover
Now it is about finishing, not rethinking
We commission the system, set up the scenes and walk you through the app and the wall controls. Once you have moved in, we fine-tune everything to how you actually live. You can also come to us with a finished home; it just costs more and the scope is smaller. We will tell you straight what makes sense.

- At this point the earlier preparation pays off.
- Renovation
- Comfort can still improve, but bigger changes are now more limited.
